In October of 1985, Darryl Buck formed Software Services Ltd., a small software company that offered IT development and consulting services. This one-man shop in Sault Ste Marie quickly grew to become one of the most highly respected firms in the area. This growth was related to Buck’s dedication and reputation for high-quality results, leveraged by hiring and partnering with people who share similar values and traits. RBB was incorporated as RBB Innovations Ltd. in 1989.

In 2001, ISNC contracted RBB Innovation Ltd. for the re-engineering, development, piloting and implementation of a web-based Client Information Management System (CIMS). This cloud-based solution allows more than 90 agencies and organizations, including HANDS (Algonquin Child and Family Services), Children's Centre Thunder Bay, Child and Family Centre, Community Living Algoma , Community Living Kirkland Lake, Community Living Parry Sound, Dilico Ojibway Child and Family Services, Kenora Association for Community Living, One Kids Place CTC, Service Familiaux Jeanne Sauve Family Services to access confidential health care information in a highly secure environment.
RBB has also developed a Centralized Childcare Waitlist Management Solution (ONELIST). ONELIST is an online application which enables parents who require publicly licensed child care to search for providers based upon their own unique requirements. ONELIST also offers child care providers an ability to access and manage their applications and waiting lists in an easy-to-use, highly secure environment. This reduces administrative time, streamlines or eliminates offline processes, reduces data duplication and provides a central repository for critical information.
Our Centralized Childcare Administration Solution will be made available on July 1, 2011 and will allow child care providers to process child registrations, maintain children and staff schedules and attendance records,easy access to prescribed medicines and allergies the children may have. Along with comprehensive reporting child care providers can produce program billings, statistical and financial reports. .
